Winter Bridesmaid Dresses

Winter wedding has its own charm with chilly winds and the beauty of the snow. Glittering lights and candles and the rustling fireplace provide warmth during the wedding. But planning a wedding in winter comes with its own set of challenges as the weather is unpredictable. You have to prepare for both sunny and snowy weather changes.

Winter Bridesmaid Dress

All the bridal stores keep themselves well prepared with the seasonal changes and hence buying a winter bridesmaid dress in this country is not a big issue. Winter bridesmaid dresses should be in darker winter shades like wine red, evergreen, and royal blue. Heavy fabric like satin, silk or velvet should be chosen to provide warmth to the bridesmaid. Long or tea length dresses would look exquisite on a winter wedding bridesmaid. The sleeves of the dress would obviously belong or quarter. But if you want to experiment with no sleeves, just carry a complementing shawl or a jacket. Another option is to try a three piece dress to protect you from the chilly winds. Vintage dresses are the best option as they can be worn again on some other occasion. Simple classic evening gowns give an elegant look to the bridesmaid.

For outdoor winter weddings, tailored suits or ball gowns would be appropriate for a fashionable bridesmaid. Fur jackets and fur gloves can accompany a strapless dress. Remember that whatever style you choose, it should complement with the dresses of the bride and the wedding group.
